Rides with the RingTaxi are possible when the Nordschleife is open for tourist driving and at some selected trackday events. The opening hours often change and sometimes laps during the week are possible. Please check these opening times to make an appointment. For further information please do not hesitate to contact us. There are individual agreements on trackdays so please ask us for more details on these dates. Check dates

We recommend customers to make a reservation for a specific date as early as possible. A free cancellation of a pre-booked RingTaxi lap is possible up to 14 days before.

Yes, last minute reservations are often possible. Hower, the rides in the RingTaxi are sometimes fully booked very quickly.

As a passenger to a professional racing driver, you will be skillfully piloted around the 20.832km of the Nordschleife. You will experience 73 corners and a difference in altitude of over 300m at a rapid pace. This is a high-speed, high-adrenaline ride around a legendary track that can be highly addictive!

To ensure passenger safety and your experience is the best possible, we request that passengers are a minimum age of 12 years or a height of 1.40 meters. Please note that if the child is under 18 years of age, he / she has to be present with a parent/legal guardian, or the parents need to provide a written confirmation in order to ride in the RingTaxi. Maximum weight is 115kg per person. Maximum height is 1.95 in our 2-Seater Audi, McLaren and 2.00m in the BMW, Porsches and AMGs. However please note we reserve the right to refuse a taxi lap. The distribution of body weight and size can mean participation is not possible. If unsure, please contact us.

No the price is per round, which means that up to 3 persons can ride in the BMW M5.

The weather in the Eifel can change quickly but yes, the Ringtaxi will still run even in the rain.

Our BMW M5 RingTaxi accommodates up to 3 passengers so you can bring friends, family, whoever you like! Even spectators are welcome.

Our ring taxis are piloted by professional racing drivers. Our experienced drivers are fast, fun and very knowledgeable of the track.

Due to the Nürburgring regulations, photographs and videos can only be taken before and after the ride. We can record the lap with a camera fitted inside the RingTaxi. This video can be purchased for 30, - Euro per lap on a USB Stick or Card. Please inform us before the ride if you want a record.

No, it is not necessary as you are the passenger and piloted by a professional.

The Nordschleife is not a modern race track. Confusing or blind corners, blind, treacherous crests, steep inclines and declines as well as frequently changing road surfaces and thus friction values make the Nordschleife one of the most demanding challenges for every motorsport fan. The Nordschleife is a racetrack, but the normal traffic rules contained in the StVO and StVZO apply, such as driving on the right. Please be sure to follow these safety rules! Overtaking is therefore only permitted on the LEFT! If a faster vehicle is approaching from behind, turn on the right turn signal. This shows that you have seen him and will let him pass. Keep in mind that tourist rides often have very mixed traffic. The variety of vehicles is great, everything from motorcycles to coaches to super sports cars can be on the track at the same time. There is everything from absolute beginners to very experienced drivers. When in doubt, always be careful and play it safe for the sake of your health.

Consider that one lap of the Nordschleife is equivalent to 4-6 laps on a normal racetrack. Length wise that is, concentration and adrenalin wise it is even more. We have based the free mileage in our offers on experience, our goal is that you return the car with a big smile on your face and nice life-long memories to cherish. Some seem to think that it is all about the number of laps but we think that it is all about the feeling afterwards. Should you however feel fresh enough to tackle the challenge on one more lap or two, you have the possibility to do so for an additional cost per kilometer, provided you stay within the booked time frame.

Driving with passengers is generally allowed. However, we only rent 2-seater cars in which you as the pilot and the coach as the co-pilot take a seat, there is no longer space in our cars for extra passengers.

The rental price for Touristenfahrten includes an insurance covering damage to your rental car, other cars and all persons involved, except yourself. The levels of excess are found in our terms and conditions. Furthermore, since the track is a normal toll road subjected to German traffic law during Touristenfahrten, the insurance company of the driver who caused an accident is responsible to cover the costs. That means that if your accident is caused by another driver his insurance company pays your damage. However, you are responsible for making sure the fault is on the other driver, this can mean that you have to call the police to get the facts right. Please observe that this might not be easy or even feasible, then you remain responsible for the damage on your rental car and must pay the required excess.

No, you don't have to wear a helmet during Touristenfahrten on the Nürburgring. If you want to wear a helmet you can borrow one from us, free of charge, but you can also bring your own if you wish.

You should wear clothes you feel comfortable in, too tight-fitting ones may be a hindrance. When it comes to the shoes, please be sure not to turn up in flip-flops, high heels or clunky shoes.

After an introduction to the most important basics that need to be observed, the professional coach will show you how to master the 20.832 kilometers and 73 curves of the "Green Hell" perfectly, which will make your experience even better.

The booked RentRaceCar, track fee (lap ticket) for the legendary Nürburgring-Nordschleife, fuel (first tank of fuel), personal coach, briefing: rules and recommended behavior on the Nordschleife, as well as an explanation of the special features of the car.

If the track does not open you can reschedule your reservation or get a full refund.

The packages are based on our long-time experience. Under normal circumstances it is no problem to complete the full amount of laps. However, it may not always be possible, for example if the track has to be closed after severe accidents. In this case we only refund the vehicle costs of the not driven laps.

No, the Evening prices are only valid Monday-Friday on days when the track is open 2-2,5 hours in the evening.

No. Rain is an integral part of everyday life in the Eifel region and to this day we haven't found a way to control the weather.

Because your well-being is important to us, not only financially but also physically! Treated wrong, the Nordschleife can be a really dangerous piece of tarmac. And we know that experience from other tracks and/or fast powerful cars in most cases doesn´t help you one bit. So instead of scaring yourself crazy in an extremely powerful car and actually not having a lot of fun, we think it is wiser to start with a car, for example the VW Golf GTI, which lets you enjoy your driving and concentrate on learning the track. You will definitely get more out of your visit that way. However, there is an option enabling you to drive the BMW M3's or the Porsches on your first visit. These cars can be rented in combination with an instructor package.
